Can we not just set it up ourselves?

Accepted Answer

You can, and naming a bot is easy. The part worth getting right is which bots share a login. They work on one shared computer, and a browser left signed in there can be picked up by another of them - convenient, and also the reason the bot answering strangers should not share an account with the bot that touches your money. Working out what sits with what, and which actions stop for a person, is most of the value.

What does Grok Bot cost?

Accepted Answer

Two separate things. Grok Bot itself is not sold on its own - it comes bundled with a SuperGrok Plus or Heavy subscription, or with Cursor Pro+, Ultra, Teams Standard or Teams Premium, so many teams already pay for a plan that covers it. We do not quote xAI's prices here because they change and their own documentation does not list them; check your plan or we will on the call. Our setup is separate and starts from €2,000.

How do we teach it something?

In writing, not by demonstration. Each bot gets a name, one job and a short description of how it should work - focused bots do better than one that tries to do everything. A request lands better when it says what you want out of it, what to use, what the limits are and where you want to take a look. When you correct something, you name the preference and have the bot keep it.

What does it do about passwords and security codes?

It hands them back to you. When a sign-in needs a password, a passkey, a security code or one of those pick-the-traffic-lights puzzles, the bot stops and asks you to take over the screen for a moment. You are not handing credentials to it for safekeeping, and it is not storing them on your behalf.

Can it use tools we have no integration for?

Usually, yes, and this is the main practical reason to pick it. The bots work a browser the way a person does, so an old supplier portal or an internal system with nothing to plug into is still reachable - they sign in and click through it. If a person can do it in a browser, a bot can generally be shown how.

Do the bots share anything with each other?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is worth knowing before you start. Your bots share one computer in xAI's cloud, and a browser left signed in there can be picked up by another of your bots when it needs it. That is useful for handing work along, and it is why we are deliberate about which jobs sit together and which are kept apart.

Can we use it on Android?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Today it runs on Mac and Windows, and on iPhone from iOS 18 - there is no Android app, no iPad app and no Linux desktop app. xAI has said Android is coming, but no date has been given, and we would not plan a rollout around one that has not.

Question 8

It is still in beta. Is that a problem?

Accepted Answer

It is a real consideration and we would rather say so. Things move, occasionally break, and enterprise access still goes through a waitlist. If your work depends on something that will look and behave the same in a year, OpenClaw or Hermes are the safer picks and we will tell you that on the call rather than sell you this one.
