What it is

What is Grok Bot?

  • Grok Bot has been available since August 2026. Each bot gets a name and one job.
  • All of one user's bots share a computer in Cursor's cloud, including files and signed-in accounts. Work continues when your laptop is shut.

The split

What the bots do, and what stays with you

Researching forty accounts overnight
Working inside an old portal nothing else connects to

Your tools

Which tools can the bots use?

They work a browser the way a person does, so a system with no connector at all is still reachable.

Safety

Is Grok Bot safe to give access to?

It hands the keys back

Passwords, codes and puzzles all stop and wait for you.

You choose what needs sign-off

We set which actions stop, before it touches real work.

Keep sensitive jobs apart

Separate bots do not separate logins. Jobs that need their own access boundaries need separate users.

Which one

OpenClaw, Hermes or Grok Bot?

Pick Grok Bot for bots working overnight with no server of your own. OpenClaw or Hermes lets you choose where the agent runs; AI providers and connected services must still fit your data requirements.

Getting started

What do you need before you start?

Before we start

  • An eligible Cursor plan, a linked SuperGrok or X Premium+ subscription, or an assigned Grok Business seat. We check your current plan on the call.
  • Mac, Windows or Linux; on mobile, an iPhone with iOS 18 or later, an iPad with iPadOS 18 or later, or an Android 9 or later device.
  • Your account must allow cloud data storage. On Cursor Enterprise, an admin enables Grok Bot.

FAQ

Common questions about Grok Bot

Yes. The important decision is access: all bots belonging to one user share a computer, files and signed-in accounts. Separate bot names do not isolate them. Work that needs separate credentials needs a separate user. We work out those boundaries and which actions need your approval before launch.
